Liz Clark Supports Our Troops

On May 16, 2010, Health Plan Select’s Marketing Representative, Liz Clark, ran the Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon in honor of her husband, DJ Clark. The half marathon supports various charities such as, Run for Wounded Warriors, Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and Hope for Warriors.

With a heart for the Marine Corps, Liz considered it a great honor to run amongst the men and women who have served, were serving and for those that were running in memory of their beloved Marines. The 13.1 mile course was run through scenic Fredericksburg, Virginia.

The course was ladened with Marines, vocal supporters and music bands along the way. The race meant a lot for many, and it was a moving experience for Liz to be a part of such a memorable event.
